  Nearly 400 students in Rukum fall sick

RUKUM, July 31: As many as 400 students at the Jana Kalyan Secondary School in Kholagaon VDC-3 have fallen sick over a week now.

They have shown symptoms of various diseases, according to the school management. The students are suffering from fever, dizziness and headaches, said the school principal, Ruplal Khadka.

He has appealed to all sides to help resolve the problem and provide necessary medicines. The school says it requires large quantity of medicines as a sizeable number of students have been affected by the unidentified disease.

The school has been closed following this. However, the District Hospital, Rukum said it has not received any information about this occurrence.
