REPUBLICA, July 30: Spokesperson for the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) Ishwari Prasad Paudyal said on Sunday that the anti-graft body has started investigation into allegations that All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) President Ganesh Thapa´s son Gaurav received $100,000 from Asian Football Confederation´s suspended President Mohammad Bin Hammam.
An independent auditor´s report on financial activities of AFC had revealed that AFC staffer Gaurav had received $ 100,000 from Hammam. Ganesh Thapa has been saying that his elder son had taken personal loan from Hammam in 2009 and has already paid it back
