  UCPN (M) to divide portfolios for general convention

KATHMANDU, July 24: A meeting of top leaders of the UCPN (Maoist) held on Tuesday, has decided to divide portfolios to its leaders for the preparation of the party´s general convention.

The UCPN (Maoist) has scheduled its general convention on February, 2013.

The meeting divided portfolio to the leaders as per the decision of the plenum recently held in the capital.

Leader of the UCPN (Maoist), Krishna Bahadur Mahara, said that the agenda and portfolio division prepared by the central office will be presented at a meeting of the Central General Convention Organising Committee schedule for this afternoon.

As per the decision, ´central office´ has been formed comprised of party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and leaders Dr Baburam Bhattarai, Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Posta Bahadur Bogati.
