KATHMANDU, July 22: Asian Paints “Khoji Pratibhako 2” has a winner. Bikram Limbu, hailing from Terhathum District of Nepal, bagged the title and became the voice of the country.
During the grand finale of the second season held on Wednesday, Limbu was successful to bag the first spot leaving behind 1100 participants.
Similarly, Bijay Adhikhari from Pokhara was announced the second runner-up of the reality show.
Out of the 1100 participants, Limbu easily made it into the Top 5 and finally took over the coveted spot and received a cash prize of Rs 100,000 with a medal and certificate to flash.
His fans from all around the world, as support, contributed a sum of Rs 583,000. Ishwore Thapa of Pokhara and Rewat Rai and Sachin Rai from Khotang made the Top 5 finalists.
A presentation of Media Hub, the show was televised through Nepali Television for 40 weeks. The judges in the competition comprised of musician Suresh Adhikari, Singer Rajesh Payal Rai, Actress Karishma Manandhar and Rupa Upadhyay while Dinesh DC and Chultim Dolma hosted the show.
During the grand finale of the reality show, winner of the first season of the show, Durga Pariyar, Kunti Moktan, Devika Bandana, Shital Moktan, Shuvani Moktan and Tshering Bhutia performed while Actor Rajesh Hamal was invited as the Chief Guest. Comedian Deepak Raj Giri and Deepa Shree Niraula, Musician Sheela Bahadur Moktan and Karishma Manandhar were also present during the show.
