BIRATNAGAR, July 20: Ramjan, the greatest festival of the Muslim community, is beginning from Saturday.
During the month-long festival, the Muslim people observe fasting which is called Roja.
Devotees observe fasting around 15 hours a day. They take delicious food (Sehahari) some two hours before the sunrise and do not eat anything until the sunset.
The Muslim people observe the festival commemorating as an auspicious time of the revelation of the Koran, the sacred book of Islam.
