  Elderly man falls off to death

RUKUM, July 19: An elderly man has died after falling off a peach tree on in the district on Thursday.

Nara Bahadur Thapa, 74, of Peugha-5, who sustained serious wounds in various body parts breathed his last at his home while he was about to be rushed to hospital.

Meanwhile, the body of Gopal Pariyar, 8, of Garayala-4, who had been swept away by local Gogankhola, has been recovered after three days. He was swept away while swimming in the river with friends.

His body was recovered some 300 meters down in the Bheri River.
