KATHMANDU, June 13: A Tara Air plane made an emergency landing in Surkhet after a bird hit the aircraft while in air on Wednesday.
The aircraft flying to Nepalgunj from Jumla had 19 passengers on board during the time of the incident. All passengers are safe. However, co-pilot Abhisek Rai has sustained minor injuries.
The aircraft has been kept in Surkhet for test by a technical team of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).
