Shrivastav informed that, Dhoni will interact with the press after his arrival in Kathmandu. Later, he is also scheduled to meet the U-19 and the senior cricket players at the TU cricket ground. On the second day, he will offer prayers at the Pashupatinath Temple before leaving for India.

CAN President Tanka Aangbuhang said Dhoni´s visit will be helpful for the development of cricket in Nepal. “We will discuss Nepali cricket with Dhoni.”

CAN General Secretary Ashok Nath Pyakurel said the tips from Dhoni will matter for the players and will help them improve their skills.

“We have arranged practice session of players with Dhoni,” said Pyakurel, adding that CAN ask the Nepal Police and the Nepal Armed Police Force to make security arrangements for the cricket star.
