Pun to be discharged from hospital Friday afternoon

KATHMANDU, June 8: Ex-PLA chief Nanda Kirshor Pun, who has been undergoing medical treatment for kidney complications since the last one- and-a-half months, has fully recuperated, the press coordinator of the finance minister said.
According to Manoj Ghartimagar, press advisor of Maoist leader and Finance Minister Barshaman Pun, the former PLA chief will be discharged from the TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, at 1:30 pm Friday.
Pun, also a politburo member in the Maoist party, was admitted to the Maharajgunj-based hospital last Sunday. Previously he was receiving treatment at Nepal Medical College, Jorpati.
