  'Maoists to support NC for consensus govt leadership'

TAPLEJUNG, April 30: UCPN (Maoist) politburo member Ram Karki said on Monday that the national consensus government to be formed soon will be led by Nepali Congress and that Maoists are positive to support NC for the government leadership.

Speaking to our correspondent in Taplejung, Karki said, "Now consensus will be forged on all the remaining disputed issues including national consensus government."

The Maoist party is having problems as their national general convention is long overdue now, the Maoist leader said, adding that the delay in calling the meet has resulted in growing anarchy in the party.

"One faction of the party is talking about revolt rather than focusing on peace and constitution," Karki, who is close to the party establishment, said
