KATHMANDU, Feb 29: Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai and UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal held talks on Wednesday morning.

At the talks held at Chairman Dahal´s residence at Lazimpat in the capital, they discussed on giving momentum to stalled peace process and constitution drafting.

Both leaders agreed to take initiative from their respective places for reaching peace and constitution to conclusion, and to move ahead by taking the proposal made by Chairman Dahal on the peace process as the bottom-line, said Dahal´s Press Coordinator Santosh Poudel.

During the meeting, Chairman Dahal urged the prime minister on bringing a framework of army integration with timetable on behalf of the government.

In reply, PM Dr. Bhattarai said after reaching agreement in political level, the Nepal Army will bring it and that the army was ready for it.

Likewise, Dahal informed the prime minister on his proposal to be presented at the meeting of the top leaders of three political parties on peace process and asked for suggestions.

Dahal´s Press Coordinator Poudel said Chairman Dahal and the prime minister held serious and important discussions on the peace process and constitution as well as the formation of commissions as per earlier agreements among other issues.
