Non-Resident Nepalis Association, China chapter has been demanding the government to open Consulate General´s Office at south-eastern business hub of Guangzhou - the capital of Guangdong province - following its second national convention.

Chengdu is developing as one of the top business centers in South Asia. The activities of Nepali business people have been increasing in Chengdu, which is considered a center of transportation and communication through trade, tourism and investments.

Chengdu has excellent flight connections with Kathmandu and it is also the nearest Chinese city in terms of land route after Lhasa.
