"The delegation voiced security concerns relating to Tibet during a meeting with the prime minister," Yadav said, "The prime minister reassured them that Nepal has been foiling any anti-China activities and will not allow such activities against China."

The 20-member Chinese delegation is in Nepal since Saturday for a four-day visit.

The prime minister also discussed ways to increase Nepal´s trade with the northern neighbor in view of Nepal´s growing trade deficit with China.

In addition, the prime minister and the Chinese delegation also discussed possible high-level visits from both countries. A source told Republica that the delegation told the prime minister they will convey Nepal´s wish that Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao visit Nepal as soon as possible.

"The prime minister would like to see the visit of the Chinese premier before his own possible visit to China," said Yadav.

Though the visit of the Chinese premier is being worked out at the highest diplomatic level, the proposed visit is yet to take even tentative shape.
