KATHMANDU, April 20: Electricity service will be interrupted in various parts of Kathmandu today.

Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced that the electricity supply will be disrupted as the feeders at various locations need to be shut down for repair work. According to the NEA, electricity service will be interrupted in Anamnagar of Ratnapark Distribution Center, Mulpani of Jorpati Distribution Center and the Danchi feeder.

There will be a power cut at the water tank of the Public Service Office, from the East Gate of Singha Durbar through Anamnagar, Neuro Hospital, Prabhu Bank, and from Dhobi Khola to Maitidevi, Ghattekulo area until 5 PM.

Similarly, under the Mulpani feeder, power supply will be cut off at Babachowk, Mulpani Chowk, Milan Chowk, Phuyal Village, Tiwari Toll, Gokarna Forest Resort, Thali, and other places from 10 AM to 5 PM.

According to the NEA, electricity will also be blocked in Shiva Chowk, Aryal Gaun, Dakshindhoka, Hotel Norling, and the Greenhill City area under the Danchi feeder from 10 AM to 12:30 PM.

Electricity service will also be interrupted for some time in various places of Nuwakot and Surkhet today.
